If so, in Shay Downer's upcoming Charcoal Portrait workshop you will have the opportunity to explore the following:

- The basic rules of facial proportions

- Ways of measuring to observe more accurately

- Tone, shape, contour, light and shadows to create 3D portraits and

- Rendering techniques in charcoal.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and drawing experience. Participants must be aged 18+and we recommend that you wear clothing that you don't mind getting charcoal on. Easels, paper and basic drawing materials supplied. You may bring your own drawing materials if you prefer.
