Description

Please join us for a public forum on sorcery related violence and the launch of the Yumi Sanap Strong Initiative in Port Moresby. PNG community organisations have developed communication materials to address sorcery related violence and to support the implementation of the Sorcery National Action Plan. At the event the latest research findings will be presented by a number of partners supported by the #PNGAusPartnership including ANU, NRI, QUT, UOG, Oxfam and Human Rights Defenders. The event includes the screening of digital stories from Simbu, Eastern Highlands, Bougainville and Milne Bay. There will be opportunity for presenters and audience to ask questions and discuss ways forward to addressing sorcery related violence in PNG.

Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP using the green REGISTER button above.

We look forward to seeing you there.
