CF Lung Function
Sat. 25 March 2017, 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm AEDT
A FUN-d-RAISING event to celebrate, laugh, admit the tough times, raise awareness and raise money. Money raised will go to local projects supporting adults with Cystic Fibrosis in the Lower Hunter, through both Cystic Fibrosis NSW & The Ethel Burn Fund at the Adult CF Clinic at the John Hunter Hospital.
Cystic Fibrosis is one of the most common genetic disorders in Australia and if you are lucky enough to live into adulthood it is a marathon- there is no time off from treatment, even for good behaviour. Organised by a family with 4 adult children, 2 with Cystic Fibrosis. The theme for the night is: There is no remission.
Designed so people can come along and enjoy a buffet dinner, music, stories, fun activities and a silent auction. Activities will reflect some of the fun ways parents and adults with Cystic Fibrosis use their lungs trying to stay healthy.
Dress code is nice but not formal (unless you'd like to) and it is a great opportunity to have a worthwhile group outing. So why not get a table of friends, family or work colleagues together & come along?
