Description

VICNISS is hosting a masterclass to support staff involved in Central Line-associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) surveillance in Victorian public and private hospitals.

This masterclass will be of interest to all involved in governance and applying quality improvement strategies to reduce patient harm from CLABSIs.

Hospital Executives, Directors of Clinical Services, Safety and Quality Managers, Infection Control Practitioners, Intensive Care and Infectious Diseases Clinicians are welcome to attend.

The morning session will provide an overview of CLABSI surveillance and quality improvement strategies. The afternoon session will focus on CLABSI surveillance ‘in practice’ including case reviews.
