Description

Celebrating Seniors Day

Join us to celebrate NSW Seniors Festival with a special day of events focused on the Library’s unique collections and historic buildings.

Begin the day at ‘Reliving the 60s’ — a workshop that brings you up close to objects and ephemera highlighting the decade’s great social and cultural shifts — followed by a history and heritage tour of the Mitchell Library.

After lunch, the Library’s First World War specialist Elise Edmonds will speak about the captivating collection of over 500 personal accounts of the war by soldiers, nurses, stretcher-bearers, artists and journalists.

Buffet lunch provided.
