Keynote speakers:
Professor Mushfiq Mobarak (Yale University)
Professor Mobarak is a Professor of Economics at Yale University with concurrent appointments in the School of Management and in the Department of Economics.
Professor Mobarak is the founder and faculty director of the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE). He holds other appointments at the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT, the International Growth Centre (IGC) at LSE, and Innovations for Poverty Action.
Professor Anthony Heyes (University of Ottawa)
Professor Anothony Heyes is a Professor of Economics at University of Ottawa, cross-appointed to the Institute of the Environment. He also holds a Tier 1 CRC in Environmental Economics.
Professor Anthony Heyes is an environmental economist with wide-ranging interests in environmental policy. Recent research has focused on instrument design, behavioural economics applied to environmental problems, incentives for green innovation, enforcement and the economic analysis of environmental law.
Professor Tony Venables (University of Oxford)
Professor Tony Venables is Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford where he also directs the Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies.
He is a Fellow of the British Academy and of the Econometric Society. Former positions include Chief Economist at the UK Department for International Development, professor at the London School of Economics, research manager of the trade research group in the World Bank, and adviser to the UK Treasury.
