Event description

Description

Join Jye and Zoe for a screening of Kanyini.

This film will help to explain the importance of National Reconciliation Week, which will be held on the week following this event. The film runs for 55 minutes and we'll have a Q&A session with group discussion after the film. Snacks will be provided.

The film follows Yankunytjatjara Elder Bob Randall who tells of the loss he and his community have suffered since the arrival of Europeans in Australia, and how historical events and modern policies continue to affect them today. He talks about how reconciliation and working together will help us heal and grow stronger as a nation.

Free for all students of the ANU College of Business & Economics.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised that the film contains images and voices of people who have died.
