Event description

Description

Check out our native plant nursery, frog pond, community gardens and chooks!

Our guest presenter is Stefan Hattingh - ecologist and wildlife carer. He'll be getting you to look at cats, rats and owls in a very different way. How do we keep our wildlife safe? What is the flow-on effect of using poisons? Are owls the coolest creatures ever?

We'll also have Boomerang Bags and homemade jam for sale. Also enjoy our book swap! Bring a book to swap with any book on our stand. We don't have EFTPOS sorry, so bring your spare change along.

Everyone welcome! Morning tea provided. (gold coin / free for members).

Gates open at 9am. The presentation starts at 9.30am followed morning tea and a tour.

Our monthly open days are funded by the Bulimba Creek Environment Fund. Bringing the local community free environmental education and inspiration and supporting those doing important work for your environment.

Free to attend. Contact b4c@bulimbacreek.org.au with any queries.

Please note that the entrance and parking (for both cars and bicycles) is off Wright St (not Old Cleveland Rd).
