Event description

Description

Venture through one of the last remaining open creek lines in the eastern suburbs and hear from Sydney Bush Regenerators expert Danny Hirschfeld about the history, the hidden plant life and exotic bird species found in this secluded place. Situated in the Coogee Basin between Alison Road & Bligh Place, Fred Hollows Reserve is one of the last remaining areas in the eastern suburbs with its original vegetation virtually intact.

Described as a green sanctuary the reserve provides a welcome respite from the heat and humidity of the coast in the summer months.

Meet Bligh Place Randwick (allow time for parking).
Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian during the tour.

This activity requires walking up and down stairs and along tracks with uneven surfaces.
