Event description

Description

Join us for an informative day in the hinterland seeing some of the great work being carried out to restore our natural areas, care for our wildlife, control pest species and change people's perspectives.

The Catchment Crawl is an annual bus tour organised by the Gold Coast Catchment Association and this year supported by the City of Gold Coast and SEQwater. The event is free and lunch is provided.

This year’s Catchment Crawl will be held on Saturday the 8th of June as part of Gold Coast Green Week and will visit examples of the extensive work being carried out in the Numinbah Valley Catchment by SEQwater, Healthy Land and Water, Bornhoffen PCYC & Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre P&C Association. We will start at 8:30AM and will be back at the meeting place around 4PM

The day is a great opportunity for you to see some of these projects up close, mingle with like-minded people and a create way to expand your knowledge and network.

We require everyone to wear proper clothing and footwear as there will be quite a bit of bushwalking involved. Please take a bottle of water and your own morning tea.

More information will be send out to all participants closer to the event date.

Please cancel your tickets if you can't join us so we can give your spot to someone else!

This event is suitable for 16 years of age and older
