Casting, AUDITIONING & How to Self Tape

Ali Roberts is an acting coach who has filmed thousands of self-tapes for local, national, and international auditions over the past 20 years. Working closely with US agents. She has worked as an on-set acting coach on Parallax, Stormworld, Wormwood, and Good Pretender, starring Olivia DeJong. Ali is an agent and partner at Actors Management International. Alumni: James Bingham, Chloe Brink, Melissa George, Dacre Montgomery, Josephine Langford, Asher Yasbincek, and Lee Tiger Halley.

Annie Murtagh-Monks has worked in Western Australia’s film and television industry for over 30 years as a casting director, acting coach and intimacy coordinator. She has been casting director on 43 major productions including Last Train to Freo, Drift, Claremont Murders, Runt and Twice Over (and has been an acting coach on 20 major productions). Annie was Director of Skills & Engagement at FTI from 2013 to 2016 and supported the early careers of actors including Heath Ledger, Melissa George, Isla Fisher, Emma Booth and Jai Courtney.
