Description

Casting and Combines
With Sally Adair

Tuesdays > 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Term 1 | 20 February – 27 March

During this course, we will be exploring modelling in clay, creating moulds in plaster and casting your forms in plaster or concrete. We will also look at the impact of casting on the development of sculpture from late 19th century to present day in a series of art history ‘snapshots’. The final project will involve combining found materials or objects into your final form as a way of investigating different levels of meaning.
