In Cuba, a popular dance known as Casino was marketed abroad as Cuban-style salsa or Salsa Cubana to distinguish it from other salsa styles when the name was popularized in the 1970s.

About Andrea Fernandez :

Andrea is a passionate dancer and instructor from Darwin. She began teaching Salsa, Bachata and Casino De Rueda in 2015 through her dance company.

She has attended numerous Latin dance festivals and has undertaken private lessons to further her knowledge on Salsa, Bachata and Casino De Rueda.

She is proud to be part of only a handful of women Rueda De Casino callers.
