Home Care Providers will be included in the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and Providers are now receiving letters requesting information . Many of the questions being asked of providers relate to how providers engage with families and carers on care related matters. This is often the role of Case Managers in Home Care. Do you want to be sure your service is prepared and providing best practice care in the future? Then this seminar is for you !

Case Management is a highly skilled specialised role. Providers of human services assist with consumers via case management to have meaningful lives whilst getting the most out of their allocated funding. Home Care providers are often asked by consumer about Case Management charges and what the benefits may be. This seminar will 'drill' down on how to work more closely with consumers and their representatives.

This workshop/seminar is being repeated in response to identified needs within the industry particularly in Home Care Packages.

LPA is pleased to have COTA Australia present at this seminar about their Self-Management in Home Care project, which features a Toolkit of resources and explores the role for Case Managers as more consumers and carers seek to self-manage their Home Care Packages.

Providers are facing ever increasing questions about their case management/core advisory services and associated fees. This seminar will explore the misconceptions and assist you to have the necessary skills and marketing to ensure consumers understand the value of case management.
