All aboard the Cas Xmas Express! Climb aboard our cheerful Christmas train and enjoy a holly-jolly ride through Casuarina Square. With festive music, bright colours, and Christmas spirit at every turn, this free event is designed especially for children aged 10 years and under.

Bring the kids along for a joyful journey and create special moments during the busiest (and brightest!) time of the year at Casuarina Square.

When: Daily, Saturday 13 December – Wednesday 24 December
Time: 11:30am – 2:30pm
Where: In Front of Peter Alexander, Casuarina Square, Trower Road, Casuarina NT
Cost: Free — but tickets are limited, so be sure to book early.

By booking a ticket or participating in the Cas Xmas Express Train Ride (the Activity) at Casuarina Square, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Safety & Supervision

1.1 This train is designed for children. Adults may only ride if accompanying a child under 5 years of age.
1.2 All other parents or guardians must walk alongside the train for the duration of the ride.
1.3 All children under 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
1.4 Children under 5 years must be seated with an accompanying adult, and an add-on adult ticket must be booked for each ticketed child under 5.
1.5 All instructions given by staff and operators must be followed at all times.

2. Participation Requirements

2.1 Participants must remain seated at all times while the train is in motion.
2.2 Loose items should be secured, and participants must not place hands, arms, or other objects outside the train carriage.
2.3 The operator reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner.

3. Boarding & Late Arrivals

3.1 The Cas Xmas Express will depart at the scheduled session time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior for check-in.
3.2 Late arrivals will not be admitted. Tickets for latecomers will be forfeited and may be offered to standby participants.
3.3 As this is a free community event, tickets are non-transferable, and no-shows cannot be rescheduled.

4. Assumption of Risk

4.1 Participation involves inherent risks, including slips, falls, collisions, or unexpected movement of the train.
4.2 By participating, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for the safety and supervision of any children in your care.

5. Release & Waiver of Liability

5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casuarina Square, its owners, operators, staff, and contractors are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising in connection with participation.
5.2 Nothing within these Terms excludes or modifies rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Medical Conditions

6.1 Participants with medical conditions, mobility limitations, or health concerns should seek advice before participating.
6.2 You must not participate if unfit, intoxicated, or impaired.

7. Tickets & Refunds

7.1 Tickets are non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
7.2 Add-on adult tickets are mandatory for each child under 5 and must be included during booking. Bookings missing an adult ticket for children under 5 may be cancelled.
7.3 Lost, stolen, or unused tickets will not be replaced.

8. Photography & Media

8.1 By participating, you consent to Casuarina Square capturing and using photos or video of the event for promotional purposes unless you advise staff otherwise before participating.

9. General

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia.
9.2 If any clause is found invalid, the remaining Terms will continue in full effect.
9.3 Participation signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
