About this Event
Following a sell-out inaugural Carols in the Common in 2019, Opera Queensland returns to bring the magical outdoor setting at West Village to life again with a glorious selection of Christmas classics at sunset.
Popular conductor Dane Lam will compère and direct the talented singers of the Opera Queensland Vocal Ensemble, joined by stellar Brisbane pianist Alex Raineri, in a program of delightfully different festive arrangements and iconic Christmas solos – and of course the chance to join in with some favourite tunes.
Date: Thursday 10 December
Time: 5:30pm arrival for a 6pm performance
Location: The Common at West Village, 97 Boundary Street, West End
Two ticket options available:
$15 per person for General Admission seating and a glass of bubbles on arrival (non-alcoholic option available)
$25 per person for a Deluxe Ticket which includes General Admission seating, a glass of bubbles on arrival and an individual cheese box.
Wet weather: Please note in the event of wet weather Carols in The Common will need to be cancelled. A decision will be made 24 hours before event start scheduled and attendees notified by email.
NOTE: In line with Government regulations, tickets will be limited. We require attendees from the same household, family, or close friendship group to maintain safe social distancing between other groups during attendance. Hand sanitiser will be available on entry.
