Find out if joining a carer support group is right for you by coming along to one of our monthly Carer Support Group taster sessions.

About this event

Carer Gateway In-Person Peer Support groups are an opportunity to connect with other carers. With the support of a facilitator who has their own carer experience, groups explore common issues and concerns, and share ideas for managing the challenges associated with being a carer. Groups are run over eight sessions, in-person or online, and are driven by the needs of the group. Groups are available in English, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese.

Our monthly taster sessions are designed to give you firsthand experience of what our In-Person Peer Support Groups are like and how they might be able to help you in your caring role. There are many benefits to joining a support group including connecting with and learning from others, sharing experiences and finding a sense of wellbeing, but come along and find out for yourself.

Taster sessions are run on the first Tuesday of the month. Select a date to register or contact Bradley Buckland, bbuckland@wellways.org to find out more about these sessions.
