About this Event

Innovations in technology have completely changed the work landscape. Today there are jobs that didn't exist 10 years ago, and quickly jobs that existed 10 years ago are becoming automated, augmented or replaced.

In such a context, what does an experienced professional need to do start a new career, or make their existing experience more relevant in today's economy?

Stone & Chalk have partnered with War on Wasted Talent to create this interactive workshop for employers and employees looking to better understand and capitalize on the skills and experience of professionals 45+ .

What is War on Wasted Talent

War on Wasted Talent is an idea that grew out of the experiences of professionals 45+ who frequently encounter ageist attitudes in the workplace. To avoid this waste, we started a movement. WOWT advocates for an age-diverse workplace and challenges stereotypes about mature-aged workers. We provide resources and training for professionals looking to improve their employment prospects. We know that very few diversity and inclusion programs have a policy for age diversity, despite the impact our ageing population will have on the future of work.
