The Career Education and Development Scale* (CEDS), developed by Col McCowan (OAM) as part of his PhD study, was trialled in ACT schools in 2020 and 2021. In 2020 Col flew to Canberra and presented the results of his research to ACT school career practitioners. Col has now completed and published his PhD research and the Scale is now included on the ACT Pathways website.

In this webinar, Col explains the theory, frameworks, concepts and research underpinning CEDS, CEDS as a career assessment tool, and the developmental design of CEDS. Lucia will outline the use and practical application of CEDS in ACT school career education programs and career guidance services. During the webinar participants will be guided through the Scale that is now available on the award-winning ACT government Pathways website.
