Canvas: Subject migration consultations - FBE

This initial session is offered as a group consultation for the Faculty of Business and Economics with the Project Evolve Migration team.

The consultation is where Subject Coordinators will meet with a Project Evolve Migration Consultant and be guided through

• How the migrated subject appears in Canvas

• The migration report, which includes any remediation that has been undertaken by Project Evolve

• Identifying actions and preparation required to be ready for teaching

• Planning the next steps

Prior to attending your consultation

Attend a virtual workshop or watch the recorded webinar.

We recommend that at least one member of the core teaching team attends the Canvas: Getting Started workshop in this preparation period, via webinar (Zoom), or completes this module within Canvas: Learn at your own pace.

• A schedule of workshops and registration is available on the LMS website.

• If the times are not suitable, you can view the recorded webinars at any time.
  
  

Accept the calendar meeting invitation

A Project Evolve Migration Consultant will send you a calendar meeting invitation well in advance of the consultation date you select.

The invitation includes details of the Zoom meeting for your consultation and further information about

• what will be migrated from Blackboard

• how and when Subject coordinators will have access to the migrated subject in Canvas

• how to view the migration report from within the Canvas subject

• ongoing support from the Project Evolve Migration team with getting the subject ready for teaching.
