Description

Bao is a popular Cantonese street food often served as Dim Sum or in boxes at Chinese Markets.

In this 3 hour class, you will be preparing fillings and dough for these delicious soft fluffy buns, peparing both savoury sweet versions and cooking them in the traditional bamboo steamers.

Cha Siu Pork Bao, with tender slow cooked pork

Roast Duck Bao, with slow cooked duck

Lai Wong Bao, sweet custard milk bun

About The Chef

Jeffrey Vincent Simonetta is an Australian–Italian Chef who has worked under some of Australia’s most influential Chefs.

His family background, thick with Italian culture, and extensive fine dining experience in Asian Fusion cuisine, has given him a broad range of culinary experiences, including experience teaching cooking classes in Asia.

Growing up in Australia with such a multi-cultural food influence, his training in fusion cooking, and the easy availability of amazing produce have provided a perfect platform for Jeff to showcase his creativity.

3. Registration is from 30 minutes prior to the class start time.
4. All classes and events require closed-in shoes.
