About this event

Continuing the evolution as one of Perth’s premier community events, last year’s event broke audience records for the second year in a row with 13,500+ smiling attendees, sold-out Sessions and conquered COVID challenges to inspire and entertain people like never before, even winning multiple awards. 2021’s LiveLighter Canning Show will elevate the joy even higher, including some a-maze-ing surprises and additions in store...

🦄 Offering 100s of things to do and 1000s of things to see, much of it FREE FUN, expect outdoor fields full of entertainment, discoveries and carnival faves for all ages across ALL Sessions, plus a diversity of unique entertainment specific to different Sessions.

The Mega Maze – A premier attraction for all ages unique to this year’s Show. Enter a fun-filled world for FREE, with tantalising twists and surprising turns curated by partners City of Canning as part of their 150th Anniversary celebrations! **

Sideshow Wonderland (rides, thrills and games for all ages)

Farmland (make new friends with stacks of cute animals) **

The Show will is held over three different Sessions, with each Session having a limited capacity:

Please note: Tickets are non-transferable (neither between sessions nor people)

The Show moved to a COVID Safe based ticketing system last year, and it’s similar this year, though even greater value ticketing with another tier of value introduced!

Please note:

NO GATE SALES

TICKETS ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE – by purchasing ONLY from Eventbrite (avoid online scammers).

TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE (neither between people nor Sessions, so choose carefully).

HURRY! 2/3 Sessions sold out last year, so hurry to secure your fun! Plus the earlier you buy tickets, the more you save!

PRICING OVERVIEW:

REFUNDS will only be made if the event is cancelled due to COVID restrictions.

ANY ABUSE of ticketing will see tickets cancelled.

FAMILY PASS = A Group of up to 4 people (eg 1 Adult & 3 Kids, 2 Adults & 2 Kids, 2 Adults & 1 Kid & 1 Concession etc), essentially priced so that 2 family/group members are FREE!).

COMPANION CARDHOLDERS can have their companions come free (show card upon entry), though they themselves will need to purchase a ticket.

The Show will be going above and beyond to present the safest fun possible, including:

👌 Online tickets only – NO GATE SALES to achieve effective contact tracing and minimal contact

👌 Ticket prices will be refunded if the event is cancelled due to COVID restrictions

👌 Sick policy – do not attend if you feel sick

👌 Show split into 3 Sessions, including 1-hour cleaning break in-between two Saturday sessions, each with restricted capacity allowing for social distancing

👌 Hand sanitiser readily available

👌 Dedicated and frequent cleaning of grounds during event, plus equipment, rides etc

Organiser of Canning Show 2021 presented by LiveLighter

Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society Inc aka CAHRS is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of the community.

It is our mission to provide platforms, opportunities, events and workshops to encourage cultural and artistic pursuits, agricultural and horticultural interests, and to develop community imagination, creation and participation.

Established in 1894, the Society now owns and hires out to the public our expansive grounds, the centrally located Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds. With several state-of-the-art, multi-purpose halls, we see 450+ events a year held on our grounds constantly inspiring people, with the spaces booked by an incredible diversity of events and communities.

We host the key community event Canning Show annually, attracting around 10,000K people of all ages, and from all backgrounds.
