The 2019 Daffodil Day Appeal will support Australian researchers working on new ways to better detect, treat, and live beyond cancer.


To celebrate this year's campaign, you're invited to join us at the free Cancer Council SA Researcher Showcase event and hear from a panel of local researchers about what your support makes possible.


Places are limited, so please register today to secure your seat.


6.00pm: Doors open, refreshments available

6.30pm: Welcome from MC Keith Conlon

6.40pm: Hear from Cancer Council's Beat Cancer Project researchers via a panel discussion and audience Q&A:

  • Professor Caroline Miller, University of Adelaide and SAHMRI.
    Research project: Reducing the preventable burden of Cancer
  • Associate Professor Andrew Rowland, Flinders University.
    Research project: A novel strategy to realise the benefits of Precision Dosing for high cost anti-cancer drugs
  • Dr Tessa Gargett, University of South Australia.
    Research project: Immune Therapy to Treat Solid Cancers
  • Professor Deborah White, SAHMRI.
    Research project: Precision Medicine in Acute Lymphoblasitc Leukaemia
  • Dr Susan Woods, University of Adelaide.
    Research project: Towards Eradicating Bowel Cancer Death: Better Detection, the Mucosal Microbiome and Personalised Treatment
