This program is suitable for adults.
Do you have a chronic health condition? A chronic condition is defined as any medical condition lasting six months or longer, for example asthmas, arthritis, cancer, obesity, diabetes, chronic pain and heart disease.
The course is an evidence based course in being conducted by ACT Health. It addresses topics such as symptom management, including pain, fatigue and depression, communicating with health providers, physical activity, healthy eating, action planning, problem-solving and decision making.
This course is a 6 week course. It will be at Belconnen Library from Wednesday 15 February to Wednesday 22 March 2017. All sessions are 10.30am-1pm.
Participants should also attend an information session at Belconnen Library on Wednesday 8 February, 10.30am-11.30am.
It is strongly preferred that you are able to attend the first session, and at least four sessions to gain the most benefit from this course.
