Mitchell Shire Council in conjunction with Seniors Rights Victoria, Latrobe Community Health, Nexus and Traveller's Aid are pleased to deliver a FREE presentation for community members, community organisations, volunteers and industry professionals.

Seniors Rights Victoria: Be aware of, and take action against elder-abuse
Seniors Rights Victoria will provide entertaining stories and information to raise awareness of elder abuse, rights of older persons, risks, prevention and the assistance and support available to you through Seniors Right Victoria.
Latrobe Community Health Service: Living at Home for Longer
Advice, tips and insights on how to continue living in your own home well into your senior years. The session is tailored for those aged over 65 years who want to know how to access government-funded subsidies to help them live happily at home for longer. The seminar also provides advice on navigating the ‘My Aged Care’ system.
Nexus Primary Health: Access for All
Information about Nexus services and opportunities including Access for All and volunteering opportunities to stay active. This presentation will also provide information on how to select care providers.
Travellers Aid: Help to get around
Travellers Aid provides support with the highest level of care, respect and dignity and are designed to enable travellers with special requirements to fully participate in life activities. Services are easily accessible and available to all those who need regardless of background.
