Event description

Description

Since 23 November 2017, Cassie Cohen and Jackson Bursill have been running the 4000km from Cooktown to Melbourne, sharing the remarkable stories of refugees who arrived in Australia after fleeing persecution and conflict abroad as they go.

Find out more about their incredible journey here and follow them on Facebook to read some of the incredible stories.

On Wednesday 14 February 2018, Cassie and Jackson will be in Canberra and will be visiting members of the local community as well as making a stop at Parliament House, before heading on south to Melbourne.

We are hosting a small Welcome Reception for Cassie and Jackson to congratulate them on their epic journey and relive some of the inspirational stories they have uncovered so far.

Join us for a casual morning tea and come along to wish Cassie and Jackson well!
