Description

Can the silly season be sustainable?

Join us as we explore sustainable approaches to the festive season at our end of year event.

With Christmas holidays around the corner, we will showcase how you can avoid waste and make more environmentally friendly choices at this time of year. We will look at practical festive solutions that save money and the environment.

We will be joined by four experienced presenters with a wealth of knowledge about sustainable practices. Each speaker will explain their organisation and background, then offer practical information in a panel discussion.

  • KESAB environmental solutions will discuss solid waste and how buying behaviour affects waste streams.
  • OzHarvest will look at festive season surplus food and how we can ensure others benefit from this.
  • Ecolateral will suggest sustainable, environmentally friendly and clever gift options.
  • The Simple Market will share ideas and solutions for low waste, frugal, fun events.

This event provides the opportunity to network with sustainability-minded people and learn about simple positive actions we can take to ensure we look after the environment whilst indulging just a little during the festive season.

All of our presenters have generously given their time to share their knowledge and passion. We hope you will be inspired and look forward to seeing you at the event.
