Cam’s Reading Camp - January 2026 School Holiday Event

Children aged 6 to 12 years old can read books on the topics below then bring a book they want to talk about to the reading camp at Clarkson Library.

Celebrate the new year by finding and sharing a book that is new to the library, or just new to you!

‘Under the Sea’ / Wednesday 14 January 2026 / 2pm to 3pm / Clarkson Library

Find and share a book exploring marine life under the sea.

‘Beach Reads’ / Wednesday 21 January 2026 / 2pm to 3pm / Clarkson Library

Find and share a book about beach and summer activities.

Children can choose any form of book, including picture books, junior fiction, graphic novels, non-fiction or audiobooks. Ask library staff for suggestions or help to search the catalogue.

Spaces are limited - book tickets for each session.
