Event description

Description

Storytelling has the capacity to engage our curiosity, to nurture compassion and to help us make sense of the world. Come along to hear stories from members of Darebin’s proud African community who now call Australia home. This event will feature inspiring speakers, food, questions, discussion and comments. Moderated by Charles Pakana, Aboriginal journalist and broadcaster.
Presented in partnership with Welcoming Australia. Welcoming Australia exists to cultivate a culture of welcome and create a future where people of all backgrounds have equal opportunity to belong, contribute and thrive.
