Calm is a Choice: How to Reset Your Nervous System Through Conscious Space
Calm is a Choice
A live training on resetting your nervous system through conscious space
If your body feels tense even in your own home…
If you’ve decluttered, organised, and tried to “do better” — but still feel overwhelmed…
If you crave calm but don’t know where to begin…
This training is for you.
Your nervous system is constantly responding to your environment.
Light. Noise. Visual clutter. Emotional memory held in space.
When your home doesn’t feel supportive, your body stays on high alert — even when life looks “fine” on the outside.
This session is not about fixing your home or striving for perfection.
It’s about understanding what your body needs — and making one conscious shift at a time.
What you’ll learn
✓ Why your home may be keeping you in fight-or-flight
✓ The three hidden nervous system triggers found in most homes
✓ How calm is created through awareness, not aesthetics
✓ Simple, science-backed shifts you can begin using immediately
✓ How to choose peace even when life feels full and chaotic
What this experience is like
This is a gentle, grounded, live training designed to help your body soften — not a fast-paced workshop or productivity session.
You don’t need to prepare.
You don’t need a perfect space.
You don’t need to take notes.
You’re invited to slow down, listen, and reconnect with your sense of calm — guided by science, lived experience, and conscious awareness of space.
This live training is guided by Etienny Trindade, a designer and construction project manager with over a decade of experience working on complex, large-scale environments.
Etienny has managed multi-million-dollar projects, including schools and university spaces environments where design directly influences behaviour, focus, emotional regulation, and wellbeing. Through this work, she has spent years studying the deep connection between humans and their surroundings, drawing from environmental psychology, neuroscience, and biophilic design principles.
Over time, she realised something essential:
the same principles used to support learning, safety, and performance in institutional spaces matter just as much inside our homes.
Today, Etienny is passionate about translating this knowledge into everyday life, helping busy women create calm, supportive homes through conscious, science-informed choices. Her work is not about perfection or aesthetics, but about intention: understanding how our spaces quietly shape our mood, habits, and nervous system, often without us even noticing.
This training reflects both her professional experience and her lived understanding of what it means to seek calm in a full, demanding life.
Etienny is also the host of the Happy Healthy Homes podcast, where she explores the connection between environment, nervous system health, and everyday wellbeing for women and families.
