Thank you for booking into the CaFHS Interprofessional Clinical Orientation to be held on Tuesday 21st April & Wednesday 22nd April 2020 from 9:00am-5:00pm. Venue: Room 5, Glenside Health Services , 226 Fullarton Road, Glenside. Turn down Mulberry Road (off Fullarton Road). Turn right - Admin & Learning building is on the LHS. Venue number: (08) 7087 1300. Lots of free parking on the grounds. The front car park fills quickly. We wish to advise you that this event will not be catered. The venue is within walking distance to local shops including Foodland. There is a split system tap located in the kitchen adjacent to the meeting room. Basic provisions of coffee, tea and milk will be provided. We suggest you bring your own snacks and beverages to get you through the day. Please advise your manager ASAP if you are no longer able to attend this training. It will be your responsibility to be aware of any changes to training dates including cancellations, change of venue etc, by 'following' CaFHS on Eventbrite (any changes will be emailed to you from Eventbrite). CaFHS Clinical Orientation

About this Event

The Child and Family Health (CaFHS) Clinical Orientation days aim to build on the information provided at the CAFHS Divisional Orientation and WCHN Corporate Orientation day. The program aims to facilitate a cohesive and shared understanding of how CaFHS works across the three core service domains of:

• relationships

• caregiver wellbeing and parenting

• child health, development and emotional wellbeing

This 2 day program also provides an opportunity for new staff to become familiar with the key policies, procedures and standards that underpin clinical practice within the interprofessional team.

The two days will have a focus on the following National Standards for Safety and Quality in Health Services:

• Recognising and Responding to Acute Deterioration

• Communicating for Safety

• Comprehensive Care
