Cacao Ceremony and New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius
Event Information
About this Event
To celebrate the expansion of Space Yoga Byron Bay, you are officially invited for a beautiful evening of connection, movement, creation, surrender and release ..... and of course lots of Cacao.
Hosted by Dunja Vairaktaris from @divinelighttherapy and Courtney Krulis from @rise_ecstatic_dance, this beautiful Cacao Ceremony is in conjunction with the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius bringing forth;
*New vision and awareness
*Resets and fresh starts
*Creativity and research
*Excitement and desire for change
*More profound effects on humanity
Since eclipses tend to shake things up, the less we have to rid ourselves of, the better. We can all aid the process by engaging in a deep cleanse and release together in Ceremony, before the Solar Eclipse on the 14th of December.
So what is a Cacao Ceremony and what to expect.
Cacao ceremonies are a type of shamanic healing, which is one of the oldest holistic healing practices used by indigenous cultures all over the world. It is a gathering of souls in sacred circle, honouring this sacred plant and honouring each other. These types of healing ceremonies work with rebalancing energies in the body to realign, release, connect and so much more. Unlike other plant medicine experiences, drinking cacao will not make you hallucinate or give you a psychedelic experience. Cacao instead, is used to expand and open your heart, and to be your guide into your own inner journey.
Expect to move your body, connect to beautiful souls, be creative, release what no longer serves you and open your heart.
A little about this divine plant;
"Cacao has been used by the Mayans and other ancient cultures for thousands of years, to help open the heart and connect with their true self and others.
This is because chocolate in its raw form contains a natural substance called Theobromine, which activates the heart, along with being an antioxidant and detoxifying. Originating in Central and South America it is traditionally served as a drink with chilli, which complements the effects of Cacao by helping to open cells so the medicine can go deeper into the bloodstream.
Cacao starts as a small dark beans, which range from light brown to deep purple and black. The beans grow inside a soft white fleshy pod-shaped fruit which sprouts straight from the trunk of a tree" -School of Breath Medicine
