Description

Buzz Inn Workshop presented by Buzz and Dig at Northcote Library Food Garden

Native bees are good friends in the garden, performing the valuable service of pollination. Learn more about solitary native bees, and the advantages of attracting these to your garden, as well as learning hands on how to make bee hotels including some very special bee residences for the Northcote Library Garden. Katrina Forstner, founder of Buzz and Dig is a local gardener, native bee enthusiast and maker of insect hotels will share her knowledge and skills to get you started on attracting more native pollinators into your garden.

Come along to this morning workshop and take a tour around the garden with members, and see for yourself how easy it is to create a bee friendly garden using edibles and natives.

This is an open garden run by volunteers. Please be respectful of the gardens and have a chat to fellow gardener, they're always on the look out for more green thumbs to help out.

Everyone is welcome!
