Sue’s career showcases a diversity of skills and experience that have been integral in seeing her become highly regarded within the franchise industry, including acting as the General Manager of a franchise system with over 80 franchisees nationally.

Nigel Miller

Nigel is the Franchisor of Plus Fitness, a 24/7 gym franchise chain with over 280 franchises sold around the world. With locations in Australia, New Zealand and India, Plus Fitness is one of the fastest growing franchises in the fitness industry.

Marianne Marchesi

Marianne is the founder and principal lawyer at Legalite, a new kind of law firm specialising in startups, small business and franchising. Marianne is passionate about simplifying legal services and providing easy-to-understand legal advice on a fixed fee basis. She is also the Co-Chair of the Franchise Council of Australia’s Women in Franchising committee and has been featured in leading business and franchising publications.

Liz Nable

Liz is the franchisee of three Xtend Barre studios in New South Wales. After graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports Media, Liz embarked on a media and journalism career working as a producer and presenter for TV News, including 6 years in the news capital of the world, New York City. It was while she was living in New York that Liz discovered the barre workout, and After returning to Sydney with her husband and children, was keen to spread the word and joined the Xtend Barre network.

Steve Schmidt

Steve Schmidt is a director and the self-proclaimed “Space Man” of BRM Projects. He has over 15 years creative and commercial experience in Australian workplaces, spanning retail, fashion and hospitality industries supported by tertiary training in architecture and sustainability.
