Master Butcher David Peddle teaches locating prime cuts and how to break down a side of lamb in this hands-on workshop.

About this event

Join Master Butcher David Peddle for a hands-on experience. David will take you through step-by-step instructions for butchery technique. You will learn the prime cuts and where they are located on the animal as you break down a side of lamb. This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to be more self-reliant to learn the skills of preparing your food.

Bring your favourite knife and an appetite, as a dinner or burgers and beers will be provided.

At the end of the class you will take home around $100 worth of meat you’ve butchered yourself, so make plenty of space in the freezer!

This small group workshop will be held at the Aranda Urban Farm with only a limited number of tickets available. There will be a minimum number of participants required for the workshop to proceed.
