About this event
Business workshop series | 2024-29 plan for the ACT electricity network
The energy sector is changing, what will it mean for your business?
With energy landscape in Australia is changing rapidly, the ACT is leading the way with a goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2045 and this means the way we generate, store and use electricity will change too.
When it comes to electricity and your business, what energy challenges and opportunities can you identify in the next 5 to 10 years?
We’ve partnered with Evoenergy to speak to the business community on their behalf to consider their energy needs as they plan for the future. Evoenergy is the distributor of gas and electricity in the ACT, and every five years they create a proposal for the electricity network that sets the direction for how they operate and manage energy supply and tariffs in the ACT. The Australian Energy Regulator reviews their proposal and determines how costs associated with the electricity network are passed onto consumers.
This free two-part workshop series will be an opportunity for you to represent the business community to provide input into the development of Evoenergy’s 2024–29 electricity network plan.
