The PMW Galloway Strategy Masterclass is a one-day practical workshop for business owners who want to stop being reactive and putting out fires.
It is especially for owners and managers who want to reignite their enthusiasm for their company, and who want their business to stand out from the competition.
5 main reasons to do the masterclass:
- Determine the high payoff projects
- Learn how to measure results for success
- Set a clear direction that will help keep your team aligned and motivated
- Establish the values that will form the basis for every business decision
- Fuel growth with a clear understanding of improvements you need to make
You will walk away with a completed strategy that you can take into your business and implement immediately.
Strategy is generally thought of as something that big companies do.
Surprisingly, it is an even more powerful tool in the hands of small and medium business owners like you, because you have the power to make decisions and create change in your company. Even better, hardly any of your competitors bother about it, so you can grab an immediate competitive advantage.
The Strategy Masterclass will show you how to set a direction for your company, and give you a compass to steer by. It will make you a better communicator, giving you the tools to articulate what you are doing and why. Your clients, employees and partners will be more engaged in what you are doing. Your staff will understand how their work fits into the whole, and what is expected of them.
The masterclass will also equip you to make better decisions by giving you clarity around your business purpose and priorities.
If you have ever tried business planning and hated it; if you think that perhaps your staff don't quite share your vision; or if you have ever thought you'd like your business to not only make more money, but actually make a difference as well...then this is the workshop for you.
Should I bring someone with me?
You can come along on your own, but there are a few reasons why it is a good idea to bring a colleague! The first is that strategising is a constant process of decision making and choosing between options. This can be an exhausting process on your own, without someone to bounce things off. The second reason is that your view may not always be practical. If you have somone else along for the ride, the two of you are more likely to come up with a workable strategy. The third reason is that if you do the strategy in isolation, and then try to take it back to your business and implement it, you are fighting a lone battle to get other people interested. If you go through the process with a partner, then the two of you can drive implementation together. And the last point is that during the workshop you might come up with ideas and challenges that you'd prefer not to discuss with the group. If that happens, then it is useful to have one of your own people with you to talk things through.
What if I am a sole owner and I don't have anyone to bring with me?
In this case, you should bring your wife/husband, or another family member who can give you reasonable input. If this is not practical, then you should ask a friend or a mentor to come along with you. You could also ask another sole practitioner to work with you as long as you are in different types of businesses, and don't mind sharing ideas about your strategic directions. The process of finding a strategy partner is an important one for your business.
