Event description
The Business of Regenerative Medicine Asia Pacific Symposium will be held in Sydney April 2020. Bridging the gap between science & business.

About this Event

CCRM Australia and the New South Wales Stem Cell Network are co-hosting the Business of Regenerative Medicine Asia Pacific symposium from 20th to 21st April 2020 in Sydney Australia.

The Symposium will be hosted at the offices of our venue sponsor, legal firm King & Woods Mallesons, with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour, and a third optional day will be offered to visiting delegates to tour NSW’s cutting edge facilities.

Modelled on the successful Business of Regenerative Medicine Meetings held in North America, our symposium will unite the field’s leading organizations, industry players, business talent and investigative minds to share their considerable knowledge and “in the trenches” experience.

The Symposium will focus on important themes that accelerate commercialisation of regenerative medicine such as:

  • raising capital and building the best team to engage investment
  • cost efficient & innovative approaches to commercialisation
  • partnering with purpose by leveraging the Australian ecosystem
  • knowing the regulatory pitfalls

This comprehensive and informative program will include presentations, panel discussions, case study analyses, networking, showcasing NSW leading facilities and more.

The full program is available from CCRM Australia & the NSW Stem Cell Network's website. For more information, contact the Symposium organisers at email: brmapac@gmail.com

CCRM Australia is modelled on the highly successful Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) based in Canada, a leader in developing and commercialising regenerative medicine-based technologies and cell and gene therapies. Drawing from their expertise, industry and venture capital networks, CCRM Australia takes on a leading role in supporting Australia’s quickly developing regenerative medicine sector

About The NSW Stem Cell Network. www.nswstemcellnetwork.org

The NSW Stem Cell Network is a professional community with an interest in the potential of stem cells to improve the human condition. Stem cell therapies underpin regenerative medicine based technologies.

The Network brings together the scientific, health and medical research communities, the higher education sector and business with the goal of promoting growth and innovation to achieve positive health outcomes for the people of NSW and globally. Our work encompasses science, medicine, ethics, law, business and public awareness of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

Since its establishment in 2002, the Network has pursued its goals, successfully conducting regular workshops, seminars, conferences and courses that allow the knowledge sharing and professional skills development as well as embarking on collaborative research and commercial initiatives. The NSW Stem Cell Network received financial support from the NSW Government Office for Health and Medical Research; and infrastructure support from Diabetes New South Wales.
