Business Coterie Breakfast
The definition of coterie is: A small group of people with shared interest or tastes, especially one that is exclusive of other people.
The Business Coterie Breakfast is for small business owners to meet like-minded people and hear from local successful business owners who share their thoughts on factors they believe contributed to their success.
By utilising the collective knowledge of experienced business owners, the Business Coterie's goal is to help all business owners achieve more.
This event will be over breakfast (included in the admission fee) and John Phillips will be the guest speaker.
Entry at 6:30am for a 7:00am start.
Tickets are limited to fit the venue and are expected to sell out - so don't wait!
100% of ticket sales go to venue, booking and food costs.
Guest Speaker: John Phillips
John Phillips co-founded the Bass Building Society in the 1968 with the mantra: “The Coasts own Building Society”. As General Manager, he led it to become the youngest and largest Building Society in Tasmania and eventually merged with the oldest, Equitable Building Society in 1988 forming Bass & Equitable Building Society (now B&E).
In 1991 he resigned from his position as General Manager and established Tassie Home Loans Pty Ltd in 1992 and retired from the position General Manager in 2009 which he remains Chairman of Directors of.
He will be speaking from his experience about important factors in business, including (but certainly not limited to) looking after your staff, customer service and the importance of relationships with people.
