• Interested in native plants and wildlife and want to know more?
• Want to do something about climate change?
Dates, time and what to bring
The training is one four-hour session offered on three dates so please select one date only:
• Tuesday 12 April 2022 9am - 1pm
• Wednesday 11 May 2022 9am – 1pm
• Tuesday 14 June 2022 9am – 1pm
Please arrive at 845am for a 9am start
The four-hour workshop followed by a BYO lunch and Q&A discussion from 1pm
The venue is outdoors and includes hands on bushcare work so in addition to your lunch please bring a hat and sunscreen and gardening gloves. Tools will be supplied on the day.
Bookings
While the cost is free bookings are essential as each session has a limited number of participants to ensure individual attention and the opportunity for hands on learning.
The training is intended for people who are interested though not already involved in bushcare.

Tempe Reserve (across the highway from Kendrick Park)
Holbeach Avenue, Tempe - meet in the old Jets carpark at the end of Holbeach Ave
Tempe Reserve has parking, toilets and shelter should it rain

Trainer
Damon Bassett has extensive bushcare knowledge and experience working with local volunteers as well as an understanding of the Cooks River and urban biodiversity through former environmental management roles at Inner West Council and Marrickville Council.
