The Guriwal Bush Tucker Track opened in 2008 to provide opportunities to showcase aboriginal knowledge and information about local plants used for bush tucker, medicines and crafts, and to present local artwork. On this tour, you'll join expert bush guide, local Aboriginal Parks and Wildlife Officer Dean Kelly, who will help you discover the amazing plant, animal and birdlife in this unique part of the world. You’ll learn the history of the local Aboriginal community; about the cultural landscape and hear about the traditional uses of the plants for food and medicine.
Meet at the entrance to the Guriwal Bush Tucker Trail, Yarra Rd, Phillip Bay (near the Yarra Bay Sailing Club).
