It is becoming well known that children who spend time playing in nature are happier, healthier and smarter. Bush School is a return to a time when children were able to explore nature freely, build cubby houses, climb trees, make mud pies, find bugs, play games and make new friends.
Led by the experts in nature play, CP Play Rangers will be on hand to tell stories and inspire a love of the natural world in you and your child through games, bushcraft activities and free play. Bush School is a unique five week nature play program for children aged 2.5 - 5 years. Learn more about the imprtance of children's nature play, including our video:

Program starts: Monday the 30th of January and will run for 5 weeks.
30th January, 6th of February, 13th of February, 20th of February, 20th of February, 27th of February
Cost: $150.00 (one ticket allows you and your child to attend for the full 5 weeks)
Ages: 2.5 – 5 years
Time: 9:30am – 11:30am
Place: Meet at Fearnley Grounds, Grand Drive, Centennial Park. Meet outside the Greenhouse Cafe (see map below)
Special notes: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents will also have an opportunity to receive training and advice on how to nurture and mentor their own nature child. Bush School is an outdoor program and will take place in all-weather except for high winds. Participants (adults and children) are expected to dress for the outdoors, including bringing wet weather gear, a hat, sturdy enclosed shoes and waterproof footwear when required.
Cancellation policy: Once tickets are purchased no refunds, exchange or credits will be given, unless the event is cancelled by the Parklands due to dangerous conditions.
