Bush Kindy in Queens Park
Overview
What is Bush Kindy?
Bush Kindy is play-based learning in nature. Children explore, create, and connect with the outdoors using nature’s loose parts, guided by an educator and supported by their families.
It’s also known as Bush Kindergarten, Nature Play, Forest Schooling, Nature Immersion, or Beach Kindy.
What to expect
Each session may include:
- Nature play with mud, sand, clay, and water
- Bush walks and wildlife exploration
- Arts and crafts using natural materials
- Group songs, stories, or puppet time
Parents and caregivers stay and supervise their children at all times.
How ticketing works
We can host up to 20 families per session.
A family ticket includes up to 3 participating children.
There is no limit on the number of adults attending — adults do not need a ticket.
When booking, you’ll be asked to select whether you’re bringing 1, 2, or 3 children.
Please do not book tickets for adults — just one ticket per family is needed.
Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the event details.
Cost and cancellations
All sessions at the Queens Park Environmental Education Centre are free, but bookings are essential.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking so another family can join.
