RELAX ~ DESTRESS ~ CHILL OUT ~ WIND DOWN ~ DECREASE CORTISOL

Inspired by the busy-ness of the modern lifestyle this initiative aims to develop mindfulness, reduce stress and increase presence while bathing (metaphorically) in the beauty of the bush.

Forest bathing began in Japan in the 1980s and is helping thousands of stressed out individuals find peace and calm in the serenity of nature. We aim to do that same except with an Aussie flavour!

How does it work?

We meet early Saturday morning once a month before the world awakens. In a beautiful location in the Hills District we set out for 2 hours of slow walking, breathing rituals, presencing exercises, mindfulness practices, a slow snack and return to the car.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Open to all ages, male and female.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Use your own transport to meet in pre-determined locations in the Hills.

What can I bring into the event?

Sturdy shoes, drinking water, a healthy snack, small backpack, camera, appropriate weather gear.
