What is Bus to Beach?
Bus to Beach is a free transport service to Cronulla Beach return, operating on select dates during the January school holidays. Whether you're heading for a swim, a seaside stroll or a shopping spree, our buses will run rain or shine, ensuring you can make the most of your day at Cronulla.
This beloved FREE service has taken over 7,000 City residents to the beach over the past 20 years and it’s revving up for many more!
Dates: Wednesdays and Saturdays 14, 17, 21 and 24 January
Who: All residents of Canterbury-Bankstown
Cost: FREE
When booking your ticket - pick the route that best suits you.
Please ensure you book a ticket for each passenger, including all children.
Times and pick up locations
ROUTE 1: SEFTON/ GREENACRE/ BANKSTOWN
- 9am Clapham Road, near the corner of Helen Street, Sefton
- 9:15am 195 Waterloo Road, Greenacre (bus stop near Dominos)
- 9:30am 69 The Mall, Bankstown (on Paul Keating Park side)
ROUTE 2: PANANIA/ REVESBY/ PADSTOW
- 9am Panania Railway Station, Panania (on Weston Street side)
- 9:15 am Revesby Railway Station, Revesby (on Blamey Street side);
- 9:30am Padstow Railway Station, Padstow (on Howard Road side)
ROUTE 3: BELMORE/RIVERWOOD
- 9am Belmore Youth Resource Centre, 3/38-40 Redman Parade, Belmore
- 9:15am Riverwood Community Centre, 151 Belmore Road North, Riverwood.
ROUTE 4: ASHBURY/CAMPSIE
- 9am Ashbury Senior Citizens Centre, 66 Princess Street, Ashbury
- 9:15am Council Customer Carpark, 17 Shakespeare Street, Campsie
All buses depart Cronulla Beach at 3pm SHARP and return to the pick up points above.
Terms and Conditions
- This service is for residents who live within Canterbury-Bankstown LGA.
- Spots are limited and there is no guarantee that tickets will be available
- Council is not responsible for persons who miss the bus and will not make provisions for transport for these persons under any circumstances.
- NO supervision is provided and Council will not incur any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any injury sustained to persons or property.
- Routes may be cancelled/diverted/altered depending on the number of registrations

Cancellation Policy
If you can no longer attend the activity, registered participants must notify Michelle.OConnor@cbcity.nsw.gov.au in writing, no less than 48-hours prior to the event taking place.
