About this event

The Wildflower Society present the fourth in this series of talks about wildflowers that bloom during each of the six Noongar seasons.

Bunura, the second summer of the Noongar seasons is the time of great heat and drought.

Yet the valleys and slopes of the Darling Range and the land immediately below the scarp explodes with the spectacular flowering of the Marri trees.

These trees had great significance to the Noongar people who called it the 'Medicine Tree'. Learn why they were so special, and not only to the Noongars.

This session is for adults.
