Business and career health check – property management education and development training
Stacey Holt from Real Estate Excellence will present this high-level workshop focusing on three parts of the business;
- File audits – what to look for when auditing files
- Procedures audits – key procedures the agency should have for their business
- Routine inspections and maintenance audits – risk management, best practice and compliance procedures
A workbook will be emailed prior to the session for attendees to print and bring on the day
The property manager, licensee and any staff that attend will be able to consider and therefore identify any weaknesses in their career and or with the agency so that the matter can be addressed and rectified to ensure the agency is operating to best practice, compliance and risk management.
The file audit will provide information in relation to the key matters that should be investigated when carrying out file audits of the rent roll. Matters of concern that require addressing and rectification can easily be identified when carrying out the file audit process.
The procedures audit will identify any matters that require rectifying in relation to written procedures and policies for the agency. Written procedures are vital for agency best practice, staff retention and accountability plus risk management.
The routine inspections and maintenance audit will focus on risk management, best practice and compliance matters to ensure the agency is carrying out the procedure of inspections and maintenance accordingly.
Attendees of the session will receive three checklists as part of the session; audit checklist for files, procedures and administration review plus routine inspections and maintenance.

What happens after you register?
When registration is made online, the registration ticket and invoice is sent to the email address provided upon registration. A duplicate invoice from our accounting programme will be emailed to the email address within 24 hours of registration if the payment method chosen is cheque, credit card (not using paypal) or direct deposit. If payment is made by PayPal, an eventbrite invoice is provided as a tax invoice.
Payment methods for training events
Payment methods are direct deposit, cheque or credit card using PayPal online or pay by credit card online via invoice provided by Real Estate Excellence. Real Estate Excellence provide a secure ink with the invoice to pay via credit card without the need to use PayPal.
You do not have to use paypal. Please read below.
If you wish to pay via credit card, paypal can be used OR you can request an online payment via invoice. If you prefer to pay by credit card (not using paypal), direct deposit or cheque, simply click on other payment options when completing the online registration the number of tickets under the correct member or non member ticket type; complete the fields as requested and when complete click on other payment options and proceed from there. If you wish to pay by credit card (not using PayPal), a link to pay securely online via credit card will be provided on the invoice given by Real Estate Excellence.
