About this event

Central Coast Women's Hiking Circle will saunter under the stars and full moon on our first evening winter hike.

Connecting as sisters and with our mother earth to rejoice in our birth right as we have done for eons moving with the rhthyms of nature within and without.

Belinda and Sophie will guide you on a magical journey through this land and into your bodies through sound, meditation and sit spot.

This events intention is to foster confidence with walking in nature, cultivating relationship and courage to spend time within nature with oneself.

Bullimah Spur track offers a medium difficulty walk through Central Coast bushland, flanked by some of the park’s most impressive panoramas.

Descend along Maitland Bay track and down the stairs to Bullimah Spur track, which branches off to the right. The track junction is well-marked, so it’s easy to navigate your way.

Follow the ridgeline past a forest of towering red gums and note the lovely understory of ancient ferns. Along the way you’ll see spectacular views overlooking Putty Beach, Tallow Beach, and all the way out to Lion Island and even Sydney.

Near the end of the track you can see sweeping views over Putty Beach and the coastline to the south and the expansive Pacific Ocean.

"I’ve now completed four hikes with Soph and every single one has brought its own kind of special magic. I’ve hiked in the pouring rain and listened to trees telling their secrets. I’ve eaten a gourmet picnic lunch while looking over the ocean. I’ve swum in crystal pools and howled at the moon. I’ve laid on rock shelves warmed by the sun watching the stars twinkle above me. I’ve danced and hugged trees and sang surrounded by swallows that circled and joined us in song. I’ve shared stories and held space for new friends. And all the while treading the paths through the bush as so many have done before me. This circle is so much more than just hiking. It’s connecting to ourselves, our sisters and our mother earth.

What are you waiting for?"

Organiser of Bullish Spur Full Moon Hike

Calling all women of the Blue Mountains NSW

Do you love nature and hiking?

Do you wish to connect with like minded women in a supportive community?

Are you wanting to connect to mother earth but not sure where to start?

In today's society it's easy to get off balance and stuck in the daily grind.

Many of us have so much to offer, yet lack the spiritual and emotional support of like-hearted community that we need to actualize our fullest potential.

I'm looking to create a community here in the beautiful Blue Mountains who wish to connect with nature and support our mother, participating in ceremony and sharing earth based wisdom while soaking up and being in the beauty of nature.

The intention of the group is to create a close circle of women, steeped in sisterhood and time outdoors with the collective vision to be the fullest, truest expression of yourself. Meeting fortnightly to explore and discover various trails throughout the area.

I look forward to creating and sharing with you all.
