Event description

Description

When you have limited time left to leave your home, you grab the most valuable things you have in one sack, a bukjeh, and walk. When you are leaving a whole life behind and starting a new one, what do we decide to keep?

Bukjeh is an installation and a series of short performances created with people who have been forced to leave their homes, in response to children's questions about refugees.
Installed in a disaster relief tent in the museum courtyard, Bukjeh brings together the imaginary and the real to create an intimate space. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to share their own questions, listen, and connect.

Please note:
We have multiple performances during the day, with a lunch break around mid-day.
Make sure you allow an hour stay. Last performance is around 3pm.
