The Revit User Goup of SA (RUGSA) presents BuildSA - A New Dimension in Training for South Australia.

BuildSA aims to reinforce the work begun by DPTI to develop its position on BIM in the construction industry. DPTI, in association with industry, have developed a strategic direction which anticipates that in the future, output required by the AEC industry will increasingly become information rich. This information has inherent value, not only to end users, but to all participants in the building and construction industry. The value of information is recognised when it is used to optimize existing work practices in a collaborative environment.

BuildSA is a series of seminars that will focus on the production of information which aligns with DPTI’s strategic objectives for the future of BIM in SA.

BuildSA's series of seminars is for business leaders, industry professionals and experts from Design Consulting firms, Builders, Contractors and Sub-Contractors, and Owners and Operators.

Terms & Conditions

Registration Conditions

BuildSA 2015 ("Conference") will be four events held throughout 2015 at various locations.

The Organiser ("Organisers") of the Conference is S Caldwell and M clothier, ABN: 62 142 433 225 and the Organisers will manage all matters in relation to the Conference, including registration, bookings and payments.

All enquiries in regard to these matters should be directed to the Organisers at All payment will be made through the evntbrite ticket management system. Links to eventbrite are found on the BuildSA website

Without exception, all fees must be paid in full prior to the event. You are not considered to be registered for the Conference until you have paid in full. Any attendee arriving at the conference with their payment outstanding will be asked to provide their credit card details as guarantee.


Cancellation of registration received on or before 5 days before the event dates listed above will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 5 days before the event dates listed above will incur a fee of 50% of the item(s) cancelled. Cancellations can be made by sending an email to Substitute attendees are welcome at no extra charge but we require you to advise us of any substitutions 72 hours prior to the event. Any cancelled delegates with an outstanding balance due will be liable for the full registration fee.


Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

The Organisers reserve the right to reject a registration without giving reasons or to terminate a registration at any time, with full refund of registration fees received - if terminated prior to the conference. Attendees asked to leave during the running of the conference, with reason, will not be entitled to a refund.

The Organisers reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of South Australia and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of those states.


Registrants' names and contact details will be used:

  • for notification of Conference-related matters;
  • for notifications by the organisers.
  • for inclusion in a published delegate list which will be distributed to all sponsors of the conference, in print and/or electronic form.

Details will include name, position, organisation, email and country/state of origin;

  • not for any other purpose without the consent of the registrant

By registering to the Conference, registrants agree to receive emails in relation to this and future events of this type. You may choose not to receive such emails at any time by unsubscribing.

Change to Conference program or cancellation by the Organisers

It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of the Organisers, to alter the times, dates, itineraries or speakers of the Conference by notice to you at any time.

In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement of the Conference, the maximum liability of the Organisers is limited to a refund of the Conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other cost, damage or expense whatsoever. It is strongly recommended that registrants take out insurance at the time of registration to include any eventuality including but not limited to loss of fees through cancellation of registrant's participation in the Conference or through cancellation of the Conference, loss of airfares through cancellation for any reason, loss or damages to personal property, force majeure or any other reason.


Registrants register for and attend the Conference at their own risk. Registrants agree not to hold the Organisers liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by registrants including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit through registering for the Conference, attending the Conference, cancellation of the Conference, failure of the Conference to achieve your expectations, or for any error or omission by the Organisers.

The maximum liability of The Organisers under any contract with the registrant is limited to a refund of the Conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever.

Registrants agree not to hold the Organisers liable or responsible for any personal injury (i.e. physical, psychological or emotional stress) or any loss or damage to personal property.
